Lucas Schools

While most of Lucas is covered by the Lovejoy ISD, there are actually 6 ISDs in our city and ETJ: Lovejoy, Allen, McKinney, Plano, Princeton, and Wylie.

Lovejoy ISD is the only district with schools situated within our city limits. Hart Elementary is grades K-5 located on the east side of Country Club Road (FM1378) between Estates Parkway (FM2170) and West Lucas Road.

The Lovejoy High School opened in the fall of 2006 and is located on the north side of Estates Parkway approximately 3/4 mile west of Country Club Road.
