Pay Water Bill
Water bills are sent out on the 25th of the month. Payment is due on or before the 10th of each month. If the 10th of the month falls on the weekend, payment are still due on the 10th. If payment is not in the office before the next working day, a $10.00 late charge will be added. There is a night drop located at City Hall for your convenience.
Automate Your Water Bill Payment
Give yourself some peace of mind and automate the payment of your water bill. All you have to do is print and complete the Bank Draft Authorization Form, add a voided check, and return to City Hall.
Water bills will be mailed out every month on or about the 25th. ACH Customers will be able to examine their bills before the funds are deducted from their checking account. If the customer has a problem with their water bill they must contact the City of Lucas on or before the 8th of the month.
If no complaints are made City of Lucas will initiate the ACH on the 10th of every month unless the 10th falls on a weekend. If the 10th falls on a weekend the ACH will be initiated on the first working day following the weekend.
Late notices are sent out on the first business day after the due date of each month. Late payments are due ten (10) days after the due date to avoid disconnection of service. Services will be disconnected if payment is not received. You will then pay your account balance in full, plus a $40.00 fee to have your service restored. If your water is disconnected for non payment, you MUST be at home to have your water service restored. This is due to liability reasons.
