Voting is your expression, it is your voice, it is your constitutional right. You, as a Lucas citizen, have an opportunity to express your voice through your vote! If you would like additional information about voting in the City of Lucas, contact the City Secretary's Office at 972-727-8999.

The City of Lucas operates under a "Council - Manager" form of governement. The Mayor and six councilmembers are elected at-large. The Lucas City Charter allows for three-year terms for the City Council.

The following candidates ran unopposed and are therefore deemed elected:

Councilmember, Seat 5, 3 year term ending May 2016
