Fire Suppression

Fire suppression is at the core of our mission. Our highly trained firefighters are equipped with the skills and tools necessary to respond quickly and effectively to all types of fires—whether residential, commercial, or wildland. We utilize advanced techniques, modern equipment, and coordinated teamwork to control and extinguish fires, protect property, and most importantly, save lives. Our department is ready 24/7 to respond at a moment’s notice to safeguard our community from fire-related emergencies.

Emergency Medical Services

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is a vital part of our mission to protecting the health and safety of our community. Staffed by trained EMTs and paramedics, we provide rapid response to medical emergencies ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions. Whether it’s administering critical care on scene, providing safe transport to medical facilities, or assisting during large-scale emergencies, our EMS personnel are prepared to deliver compassionate, high-quality care when seconds matter most.

Fire Prevention

Preventing fires before they start is one of our top priorities. Our Fire Prevention team works proactively to reduce fire risks through inspections, public education, and community outreach. We conduct fire safety inspections in homes and businesses, review building plans to identify hazards and improve preparedness to ensure our firefighters—and our community—are better equipped to respond swiftly and safely. Through education, outreach, and careful planning, we’re building a safer tomorrow, today. , and offer programs that teach residents how to stay safe. By focusing on education and awareness, we help create a safer community for everyone—because the best fire is the one that never happens.

Public Education

Knowledge is one of the most powerful tools in preventing emergencies and saving lives. Our Public Education programs are designed to teach community members of all ages about fire safety, emergency preparedness, and injury prevention. From school visits and fire station tours to CPR training and community events, we aim to equip the public with the information they need to stay safe and make smart decisions during emergencies. By empowering our community through education, we’re building a safer, more resilient future—together.

Water Rescue

Our Water Rescue team is specially trained to respond to emergencies on and around Lake Lavon. From boating accidents and swimmers in distress to submerged vehicles and medical incidents on the water, our firefighters are equipped with the skills, equipment, and boat needed to perform safe and effective rescues. We also promote lake safety through community outreach and education to help prevent emergencies before they happen. Whether on the shore or in open water, our team is ready to respond swiftly when lives are at risk.
