The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is hosting an online public hearing covering the reconstruction and widening of Farm Market (FM) 1378 from FM 3286 to West Lucas Road in Lucas. The virtual hearing will consist of a pre-recorded video presentation and will include both audio and visual components. The materials will be posted online by Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. and will remain online for at least 15 days. In addition, TxDOT is providing an in-person option for individuals who would like to participate in person instead of online. The in-person option will be held in an open house format on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a live presentation about the proposed project at 5:30 p.m. at the Lucas Christian Academy (505 W. Lucas Road). In person attendees will be able to review hard copies of project materials, ask questions of TxDOT staff, consultants, and leave comments on the current project.
